Hydraulic Fitter (Perth Branch)

           Role Summary
  • Hands on hydraulic component and hydraulically operated machine maintenance, repair
  • and fault finding, assembly and commissioning of hydraulic systems and components.
  • Drill rig maintenance and servicing. Hydraulic hose and fitting identification, assembly and
  • change out. Handle direct customer enquiries and provide prompt customer service.
Duties
  • Hydraulic component rebuilds
  • Hydraulic component testing and assessment
  • Component stripping and failure identification
  • Job supervision and planning
  • On-Site Shut Down work on hydraulic systems
  • Lubrication system service and maintenance
  • Drill rig regular servicing
  • Ongoing training and development including apprentice training
  • Hydraulic system servicing
  • Hydraulic system fault finding and testing
  • Machine rebuild and assembly
  • Machine building and hydraulic circuit installation
  • Hydraulic hose assembly and change out
  • Part requisition and purchasing as required
  • On Site system testing and assessment
  • Maintain accurate work records
  • Safe job planning and maintain safety records, JSA Daily time sheet preparation
  • Oil Purification machine operation and oil condition maintenance
  • Test Bench operation and component testing
  • Control system fault finding and maintenance
  • Hydraulic schematic reading and drawing preparation
  • Maintain clean workshop and work space area
  • Oxy and Arc welding
  • Turning and machining
  • Pneumatic system and component repairs
  • Daily data entry including workshop job creation
  • Carryout workshop systems and procedures maintenance
  • Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Ensuring our customers’ expectations are well managed and our promises effectively delivered – meeting their specific needs
  • Ensuring workshop jobs are completed on time and on budget paying particular attention to hours quoted and hours charged
  • Working with Stores and Sales staff to enable efficient flow of jobs through workshop
  • Analysing processes used and providing feedback for continuous improvement

       KPIs

  •  LPN Completed 1 per Month    
  •   80% Charge Out
